Wedding Packages

The last few years have been tough ones for professional wedding photographers, as it seems that our main competition seems to come from the 'keen enthusiast' who fancies chancing his arm at earning a few quid on a Saturday, photographing cheap weddings, and consequently slashing prices to an unrealistic level. I'm pleased to say that I have weathered this storm by not compromising my product too much, but making sure that my product is great value for money and of a high quality. Rant over :o)

Whilst most of my wedding clients end up with a pretty bespoke product the packages are always a good starting point when building just the right deal for you. Here are the packages:

Standard Wedding Package: £1,350

Includes:

• photography on the day (6 hours coverage), from the morning of the wedding (giving me a chance to break the ice with bridesmaids, groomsmen and family) up until bride and groom are applauded into their wedding breakfast. Extra photography in the evening may be arranged at a cost of £60 per hour inclusive of images added to the proof album;
•  
• proof album of approximately 270 images (30 pages, 9 to a page). This is yours to keep and represents the story of the day. It is a 12’ square coffee-table item bound in a linen cover. The proof album has rapidly become the most treasured part of the package (unlike the proofs of old) and I often have to produce replicas for each set of parents. It is in itself an extensive document and the most often looked-at memento of the day;

• 24 photographs towards your final album(8x6). This gives you the flexibility to source your own album if you prefer. Most couples, however, are quite happy to allow me to do this for them. If you would like to include the Album then just add an extra £90;

• 16x12 enlargement, mounted but unframed

If you would like more images in your final album, or perhaps a different size, then here are a few examples of other options (prices are in addition to the Standard Package):

Premier Wedding Package: £1,720 (represents a saving of £125 on items bought separately)

Includes:

• Photography on the day (from morning of wedding to wedding breakfast)
• 3 proof albums i.e. includes one for both sets of parents
• 30 images (8x6, inclusive of final album)
• Digital proof album, enabling you to view on pc or tv
• Framed 16x12 enlargement

Deluxe Wedding Package: £1,900 (represents a  huge saving of over £200 on items bought separately)

Includes:

• Photography on the day, inclusive of 2 hours extra to 1st dance
• 3 proof albums i.e. includes one for both sets of parents
• 30 image 10x8 final album
• Digital proof album
• Framed 16x12 enlargement

Mix and Match

Alternatively, you may like to split and separate the items within the packages, although it must be pointed out that the packages do represent better value for money.

Photography by the hour (minimum of 2 hours), sometimes the budget won’t stretch to full wedding coverage. In this case I am prepared to turn up for a shorter period during the day. This may still allow you to get part of the day captured for posterity, whether it be at the church or from church onwards.  : £90 per hour (inclusive of post-production)

30 page Hardback Proof album max 270 images, dependent on number of hours coverage (not suggested unless coverage is over 4 hours) : £300

Digital proof album (more suitable when only a couple of hours coverage are booked) £100 for up to 200 images; 50p per image extra thereafter.

(The images are supplied as medium resolution files, ideal for TV or computer slideshow. It must be stressed that copyright remains with Mansel Davies and this is not meant as a print-facilitating medium)

Copyright & Hi Res Images : sometimes I am asked to release the full size images. This can be done at a cost of £1 per image and as a complete collection only. i.e. if the proof album contains 250 then an extra charge of £250 will apply for release of copyright and hi res files. Alternatively, select images may be released at £50 per image.

Prints : when creating your own bespoke package you will probably want to order a number of prints. Prices and different sizes are outlined below:

Payment

There will be 3 payments as follows;

20% non-refundable deposit on booking (this will secure your date in my diary and ensure no double booking;

50% of the balance 2 weeks before wedding;

Outstanding balance is to be paid on receipt of proof album.

(Any extra payments relating to extra prints ordered by friends and family should be paid at the time of the final print order.)
